Customizable viewing themes

Viewers can personalize Smoothcast with visual themes that change the background artwork and accents of the site.

Available themes

America - The Republic — a waving US flag, Great Plains grain fields, the Statue of Liberty, the Gateway Arch, the Grand Canyon, Texas longhorns and Florida marine wildlife.
Fur Babies — animated dogs and puppy visitors, with dog-themed category accents.
Smoothcast Default — the standard Smoothcast look.

Themes are numbered in the theme menu, and each theme has a Show Theme preview page.

How themes behave

Video-loop backgrounds on desktop; a gentle Ken Burns still on mobile to save data and battery.
Reading areas, dialogs and controls stay on opaque surfaces so text remains readable over the artwork.
Reduced-motion preferences pause theme animation.

Viewer personalization

Beyond themes, viewers can turn on an optional TV Portal appearance, ambient glow and glass chat, and choose light or dark transitions. Channel pages keep their own identity while themes shape the surrounding site.
